The area is very quiet with parking space available in front. The apartment is at 5 minutes drive from the airport and in the gateways for the other major spots at the island has Lagoa das Sete Cidades (25 minutes drive), Furnas (40 minutes drive), Praia do Pópulo (8 minutes drive), Praia de Santa Bárbara (15 minutes drive). The best way to move yourself is by renting a car. (you get a better price if booked with advance).
